In 1977, Doug Terrell and a business partner opened McQuik’s in Muncie — one of the first drive-through oil change shops in the country. They invented a new kind of service. One that was fast, honest, and kept you in your car.
Quaker State noticed and bought them out. When they asked Doug to move to Texas, he said no — he had kids in school here. So the Terrells bought their locations back, and never looked back.
Doug’s son Chad and son-in-law EJ Williams run the operation today.
